Motorcycle

Ride with the sun on your face and a good insurance policy in your pocket.

Whether your bike is your primary mode of transportation or your weekend ride, motorcycle coverage from Luster is as customizable as your motorcycle. Choose exactly what kind of coverage you need. Options include Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability, Medical Payments, Roadside Assistance, and more.

Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability (BI/PD) - BI/PD provides coverage even if you're at fault for an accident that causes injury to another person or damage to someone's property, up to your selected plan limits.

Comprehensive & Collision - This coverage helps pay for repairs to your motorcycle, even replacement of your motorcycle if it's stolen or damaged in an accident-no matter whose fault it is. You select a deductible and the policy pays for the remaining damage.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) - This insurance covers you when the person at fault for an accident doesn't have insurance or doesn't have enough insurance. UM/UIM will cover your injuries and damages that the at-fault party is legally liable for, like medical treatment and lost wages.
Medical Payments - This covers the cost of necessary medical care you receive as the result of a motorcycle accident, used regardless of who is at fault. MedPay often is limited to medical treatment received within the first three years after an accident and is limited to a specific dollar amount. In some states, MedPay only applies after other medical insurance is exhausted.

Custom Parts & Equipment - In most states, when you purchase Comprehensive or Collision motorcycle insurance coverage, at least $1,000 of Accessory coverage for custom parts and equipment is included. You can purchase up to $30,000 of additional Accessory coverage to cover custom parts that exceed the included $1,000 value.

Roadside Assistance - If your motorcycle breaks down on a ride, Roadside Assistance will pay for towing to the nearest qualified repair facility. Roadside Assistance also covers the labor costs at the place of breakdown when your motorcycle is disabled due to any of the following:

  • Mechanical or electrical breakdown
  • Dead battery
  • Flat tire
  • Lockout
  • Insufficient supply of fuel, oil, water, or other fluids
  • Entrapment in snow, mud, water, or sand within 100 feet of the roadway
